THE LEADER’S: Let’s start with the company you are creating together – vision, mission and values, how would you describe it?

Paula: I will quote Eisenhower here. “Sticking together is progress. Working together is success. Only strength can work together.”

The Leader’s was born out of a need to create a workplace where there would be cohesion, honesty, fairness, development, trust, passion, determination and full commitment, but also fun and camaraderie. We wanted to create a company managed by women and for women – Moms who want to advance their careers despite everything, and at the same time reconcile work and home responsibilities.

Another thing is the empathy and understanding of the problems that employees come to us with, which is so important nowadays. It’s a passion for what we do and we want to infect people with that passion. The thing about this industry is that once you get into it with full commitment, it even becomes addictive. It’s hard to get out of the rhythm and you don’t want to do it.

Our Vision is definitely a Real Estate Agency where service is top-notch, clients’ needs are listened to, and knowledge of the market is tailored to their needs and a good eye for finding real gems. It’s also a relationship for years and trust that allows us to accompany and advise you in what are often the most important decisions of your life.

TL: Marysia told us that you have a division of tasks between you. What is your role in the company?

Paula: Many times I have encountered the opinion that I am a person with whom one feels inner peace. I rather rarely get upset and have a lot of patience. I also always give a lot of credit and am said to have a light pen. Because of these qualities, my role at the company, aside from general organizational matters, is to ensure the best possible work atmosphere, organize special events, integrate employees and edit texts posted on social media.

The key to creating a good working environment is to work with people, to be able to resolve conflicts, and that’s what I’m for. Of course, each of us cares about the best possible life at work, and I support in this as much as I can.

TL: You also combine the work of the Agent with the management of the company. How do you manage to do that?

Paula: Agent work has been my profession for 9 years, so nothing has changed here. I felt perfect in this role from the first month. I have been fortunate to have many times the best performance among my colleagues and I have always been a very independent person.

Managing the company for me means understanding the needs of the people on my team, helping them develop their skills and looking for their strengths in everyone. Everyone is different and has different aptitudes. Successful management is finding the potential in employees and honing it. Often, we work together as Agents, so I also help to finalize deals or provide substantive support when they need it. The rest is a matter of self-organization.

TL: How did you get the idea to work in real estate?

Paula: I studied media communications, working from to and routine demotivated me, and boredom was something I always defend against with my feet and hands. I have always had a knack for sales, I love interacting with people, I love beautiful interiors, I love real estate and I love the feeling when I can advise and fulfill someone’s dreams in this area. I can’t imagine myself in any other role, so you can imagine how lucky I am to be where I am today and running my own Real Estate Agency.

The market constantly surprises with something. Real estate is still the best investment of capital. Of course, it is impossible to forget the pandemic or the outbreak of war in Ukraine and the changes associated with it, but for me these are moments of challenge that I enjoy and test myself in my ability to adapt the situation to the needs of clients.

Surely my colleagues in the industry will share my opinion that the premium real estate market in any “critical” situation heats up even more, and the current situation forcing changes has also directed us towards development in foreign markets such as Spain, Italy, Portugal or even the UK. These are very broad horizons, however, to the brave the World belongs!

I have wonderful Female Partners and together we share the responsibilities of typical administrative matters, and our Office Manager Julia is a real gem who takes special care of this, and her marketing skills are impressive. Our team will soon be joined by another person who will take care of office matters so that we can devote as much time as possible to Clients and Agents.
